From October 31 to November 4, 2009, the 15th Jinhan Fair for Apparel, Fabrics & Home Textiles got the buyers traffic of 15,700 overseas buyers from 129 countries and regions. The fair covered the exhibition size of 12,000 square meters. Around 250 exhibitors from Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangshu, Hongkong, Taiwan, Macau and other cities and regions participated in the fair. Although the buyers traffic was a little less than the organizer’s and the exhibitors’ estimation, the fair’s general level was still satisfied. According to the survey conducted by the organizer during the fair, 98% of the buyers expressed satisfaction with the fair and are willing to visit Jinhan Fair next year. And 74% of the exhibitors revealed that they would participate in the fair next spring season.

In order to strengthen the fair’s competitiveness and apply the fair to the development of the apparel and textile industry, the organizer decided to create a complete new fair with the reposition of exhibit categories, which will be comprised of apparel, fashion accessories, denim wear and home textiles. After the reposition, the fair will be entitled “Jinhan Fair for Apparel, Textiles & Fashion Accessories” from the beginning of 2010 and will be scheduled on May 1-5, 2010 at the Poly World Trade Center Expo, Guangzhou, China.

“Creative Styles” is another highlight of the Jinhan Fair for Apparel, Textiles & Fashion Accessories in the upcoming season. This new section will be dedicated to displaying original and creative products or the latest design trends related to the apparel and fashion accessories field. As estimated, a group of fashion designers from Hongkong and Chinese mainland will attend the fair. Moreover, the “denim wear” section will bring together more exhibitors. Featuring various designs, this section will cater for buyers’ different tastes for denim wear.
